The decoration at Soriyabori Villas Resort was simply beautiful and elegant. The traditional Cambodian wooden houses were adorned with intricate carvings and lovely details, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The general areas of the resort were well-maintained and provided comfortable seating options for seniors like myself to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Additionally, the resort's accessibility for senior people was excellent, with easily walkable paths and ramps to accommodate those with mobility challenges.
I would have appreciated more assistance from the children working there when it came to navigating the resort's facilities.

A Relaxing Retreat with Wonderful Rooms
We had quite an adventure getting to the resort, taking a ferry and then riding a motorbike up a sandy bank before hopping on a tuk tuk to reach the hotel. But it was all worth it! Soriyabori Villas Resort is situated in a lovely, quiet, and secluded location. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. The rooms were absolutely wonderful, providing a charming and authentic experience. We enjoyed our stay so much that we wished we could have stayed another night. Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the limited breakfast options and the lack of tea and coffee making facilities, overall I highly recommend this resort for a relaxing and memorable retreat.

We stayed on an island in the Mekong river with beautiful traditional wooden architecture and lovely views. the resort had fantastic facilities including a stunning pool and good food in the restaurant. We enjoyed borrowing bikes and exploring the island at sunset.
We were surprised to find that the high prices didn't cover all the expenses, as there were surcharges for tuktuk rides to the mainland.

the gardens and forest surrounding the lodge added to the experience. Staff was always ready to help us with anything we needed and the food was great. the authentic wooden shutters of the rooms and their large bathrooms with modern toilets made for a special stay.
The lodge had many spiderwebs and spiders, which is expected in wooden lodges. the island itself didn't offer much to see, and after cycling around the island, we felt we had seen it all.
